‘Always On display’ for Galaxy S7/S7 Edge updated, brings some Note 7’s functionality

Galaxy Note 7 is no more. And Samsung is trying its best to recover from it. They are offering $100 vouchers to US consumers and in India, some freebies are being offered as a compensate. So, Samsung expects users to opt for Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge instead. With that, the company is already making some moves to make Note 7 users feel home.

With recent AOD update on Galaxy S7, Samsung ported some features and improve upon it. A new calendar is added, users can choose to display any image when the display is off, some new clocks with an option to add any text below it and a support for third-party music players. Unfortunately, no third-party app support is still absent. But we could expect to arrive it soon (Maybe with Nougat 7.0).

If you are a Galaxy S7/S7 Edge user, an update is right headed to your device. Check it out and let us know what do you think about it.
