Apple iPhone SE is now available in India, price starts at Rs. 39,000
Just a few weeks after it was launched in US, Apple’s latest offering, iPhone SE (Special Edition) is now available to purchase India. Simply put, iPhone SE is an evolution of 2 years old iPhone 5s with 6s internals. The price starts at Rs. 39,000 for 16GB variant and 64GB version will empty your pockets by Rs. 49,000. You can choose from four color options – silver, rose gold, space grey and gold.
The iPhone SE has a 4-inch 640 x 1136 (326 PPI) Retina Display. It runs the latest iOS 9.3 and is powered by their in-house A9 processor paired with M9 co-processor. Photography is handled by a 12-megapixel, f/2.2 aperture rear camera with True Tone Flash,Live Photos support and 4K video. It also has a 1.2-megapixel front camera for FaceTime. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC for Apple Pay support. Touch ID is on board too (Though it’s 1st generation, not the latest one found in iPhone 6s).
Apple has partnered Redington and Beetels Teletech to sell the smartphone in India. Redington will make sure the availability of iPhone SE at 3,500 outlets in India while the former is said to offer it over 3,000 retails locations across India.
