Apple Announces watchOS 4 at WWDC

The Apple Watch has been the best selling wearable in the market, with AndroidWear hardly gaining momentum. At WWDC 2017, Apple showed off WatchOS 4, which brings more intelligence and fitness features to the watch.

There is the new proactive Siri watchface, which provide contextual information about your entire day, like traffic, reminders, and alerts.

In terms of fitness, there will be personalized Activity coaching based on the data of your body. The fitness app gets and update and introduces GymKit, a groundbreaking technology platform that will offer customers connected workouts with cardio equipment. The Apple watch is great as a smartwatch, and now it’s trying to up its fitness game too. The Activity app gets revamped too, which will provide tailored encouragement in the form 0f activity rings and also suggest how you can reach your targets. The new heart rate and motion tracking capabilities enable users to execute an HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)

Siri Intelligence will feature in a new smart Siri watchface which gets dynamically updated based on information from time, routine, schedules, maps, reminders as well as news.

Mosaic There are also a set of new Toy Story watch faces for all of you 90’s kids. And also a new Mosaic face, which make patterns based on the colours of an image

With watchOS 4, Apple Watch users can make and receive person to person payments quickly, easily and securely with friends and family with Apple Pay within Messages or using Siri. This gets stored in their Apple Pay accounts for future use.
