The bigger Galaxy S8 is proving to be more popular than Samsung’s expectations

The pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are out in selected countries. And the retailers are witnessing more than anticipated demand for the Galaxy S8+. As a result, Samsung has upped the production for the bigger Galaxy S8.

Samsung initially planned a split of 60/40 for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ respectively. But the new report from the South Korea suggests the numbers being twisted into 55/45 split. This isn’t a first time Samsung to face such scenario. Back in 2015, the tech giant planned 2:1 production capacity for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, only being reverted to 1:1 in three months.

The company is readying 20 million units of Galaxy S8 series for the first month of availability around the world. Did you pre-order one? If yes then which one? Sound off in comments.
