BlackBerry KEYone with improved specs to launch in India on August 1st
BlackBerry KEYone was one of the most interesting smartphone launch of H1 2017. Announced at MWC Barcelona, the KEYone was the last smartphone designed by the Canadian company in-house before it sold the phone division to TCL. Now the company is all set to launch the KEYone in India on August 1st.
The Indian variant of KEYone will feature a 4.5-inch IPS panel, Snapdragon 625 processor, more RAM (4GB compared to 3GB) and 64GB Storage (32GB for international version). The battery capacity stands at 3505mAh with USB Type-C and Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The rear camera includes the same 12MP sensor found on Google Pixel phones. Whether the end results meet Pixel’s performance is remain to be seen. The selfie shorts stands at a respectable 8MP resolution.
The USP of the device is the iconic physical keyboard beneath the display. It comes with few tricks like app/tasks shortcuts, scrolling through UI with keyboard gestures and fingerprint scanner backed right into space bar.
The device runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and comes with Black/Silver color combo. We expect the KEYone to priced at around Rs. 40,000. Interested in getting one?
