Dell refreshes XPS 13 lineup with new processors and better battery life
Lenovo, ASUS, and Razor already updated their notebook offerings with latest Intel processors. Now, it’s time for Dell to give the same treatment to its highly successful XPS 13 lineup. Today, the company announced XPS 13 refresh with 7th generation Intel processor and few hardware additions.
Just like last year, one can choose from FHD or QHD screen with later having a touchscreen, Intel 7th gen i3/15/17 processors and the storage options that start from 128GB and goes up t0 1TB. The RAM options remain the same with 4GB/8GB/16GB. Ports are also unchanged from the previous generation. Dell claims a better battery life of 22 hours for non-touchscreen version and up to 13 hours for QHD variant. The company also brags about powerful WiFi performance thanks to the killer 1535 AC hardware inside. Oh, and there is new Rose Gold color variant too. Because, why not?
The pricing starts from $799 for a base model with Silver color and the Rose Gold one will set you back by $1400. It will begin shipping from 4th October in the US. Availability in other countries is still unknown.
