Everything we know about Honor V10
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch a new smartphone, Honor V10, today at Beijing. From last one week, Honor V10 is under rumors category but after the renders from a Chinese communications commission website, TENAA, we got some more interesting information.
The V10 will be powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled chipset which Honor has tried to do for the first time. It will run on the Kirin 970 chipset which is Honor’s First System on Chip (SoC) with Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that promises an affordable AI ecosystem.
The specs include a “bezel-less” 5.99-inch FHD+ LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (and storage can be further expanded via a microSD card). The fingerprint sensor is expected to be placed below the display which may also act as the home button. The handset is also going to come with a dual-rear camera setup which might have 20MP+16MP sensors and a wide aperture range from f/0.95-f/16. It is going to have a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device may be powered by 3,650mAH battery. In addition, the device is expected to launch with Android Oreo 8.0.
The render showcases that the phone is going to be pretty slim at just 6.97 mm and further confirms that the V10 will include a headphone jack.
The V10 will be unveiled today in China, before it is expected to be announced in global markets on December 5. The phone is going to hit Indian markets in January 2018. It’s arriving in black, blue, red, and gold variants, but we don’t yet have any details on its precise price or release date for you.
