Flipkart enters smartphone race with Billion Capture+ launch at ₹10,999

Indian e-commerce giant, Flipkart has officially announced its first smartphone called Billion Capture+. Flipkart says it has gone through many consumer reviews on a 10k category of smartphones and that the Billion Capture+ is tested, designed and manufactured in India.

The Billion Capture+ features a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal memory with micro-SD expansion, a 3500 non-removable battery with fast charging on-board. The device is powered by Android 7.1.2 and Flipkart promises Oreo update in near future.

The camera department is handled by dual 13MP setup in back. Flipkart has chosen to include a secondary monochrome sensor which helps to gather more light in the final image. The selfie shooter stands at 8MP resolution.

The 3GB/32GB variant is priced at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB/64GB one will set you back with Rs 12,999. Flipkart has some introductory offers like no-cost EMI and various discounts on credit/debit cards.
