Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro with 5000 mAh battery launched in India for ₹32,490

Samsung’s Galaxy A series has always been considered as a mid-range smartphone offering, but that changed with last year’s introduction of Galaxy A9 which brings almost flagship specs at not so flagship price.
Today, the company officially unveiled the successor, Galaxy A9 Pro. The device was previously made available in China and now it’s making its way India without any hardware or software change.
Galaxy A9 Pro boasts 6 inch full-HD AMOLED display with octa-core Snapdragon 652 and Adreno 510 GPU. Other specs include 4GB of RAM (Yes, you read it right), 32GB on board storage with micro-SD expansion, 16MP rear camera with OIS, 8MP selfie shooter, an enormous 5000 mAh battery, dual Sim 4G LTE, usual connectivity options and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of box with ₹32,490 price tag.
Here is what Samsung had to say about Galaxy A9 Pro at launch, “With capabilities like multitasking with higher memory and advanced processor, one of the largest batteries in the industry for long lasting use and enhanced camera with optical image stabilization along with low-light photography capabilities, the Galaxy A9 Pro provides a flagship experience.”
It’s good to see SD652 equipped Samsung phone with comparatively low price to other OEMs(Sony, ASUS…. Looking at you). The Galaxy A9 Pro will be available for purchase starting from 26th September.
