Galaxy Note 8 specs sheet leaks: 6GB RAM, dual camera and more on board
It seems Samsung just can’t keep the Galaxy Note 8 under the wraps. After revealing the official renders and design of upcoming Note a few days ago, our favorite leaker @evleaks is at it again.
Venturebeat reports that the Galaxy Note 8 will sport a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by either Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor. The RAM gets an important bump to 6GB. The storage capacity (64GB with micro-SD slot support), IP-68 water and dust resistance, USB Type-C with fast charging and wireless charging, iris scanner and dedicated Bixby button remain the same. The body dimensions stand at 162.5mm x 74.6mm x 8.5mm and cramp 3300 mAh battery.
As expected from leaked renders, the biggest upgrades are coming in the camera department. The Note 8 will be the first flagship device from Samsung to feature a dual-rear camera setup. Both the lens is 12MP and OIS enabled, the primary lens carries the same crazy fast dual-pixel autofocus and f/1.7 aperture. The secondary, however, sport f/2.4 aperture and will act as a 2x optical zoom.
The available colour options include Midnight Black and Mepal Gold. The pricing and availability are still unknown. Tune in at 23rd August to find out more.
