Galaxy S7/S7 Edge production up, likely to cover for Note 7 mess
As Samsung officially end production and sales for Galaxy Note 7, their best-selling S7 and S7 Edge are getting beefed-up production. The Korea Herald reports that Samsung has asked supplier to ramp-up the Galaxy S7 production in the middle of Note 7 crisis.
The company reportedly believes that they could still retain some users and all is not lost yet. Another reason could be the upcoming Diwali festival in India and Christmas season. With Note device’s absence, Samsung is left with S-series flagships this year.
But here are two problems with it. One, many consumers still believe the problems are with Galaxy 7 series and that could ultimately mean they could skip Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge even if they are hassle free. Also the fact that, Galaxy S8 in coming in Feb next year and rumors are in with mouth-watering features and specs. Here in India, all the Note 7 posters and banners are already replaced with S7 advertisements. Expect to see similar results in other parts too.
