Google Pixel & Pixel XL leaked in detail by Carphone Warehouse
Just a day before the Google’s official event on October 4th, UK store Carphone Warehouse has listed both the devices on their website in detail. It shows full product pages of Pixel and Pixel XL including images and specs.
While we are already familiar with the front and back renders of the phone, these images provide a closer side-by-side look at both devices. Both devices will share identical designs as reflected in the “Available in 2 sizes” image. We can also see the USB-C port and speakers on the bottom.
The slide titled “Your own personal Google assistant” suggests the new Google Assistance, which was shown off by Sundar Pichai at I/O. Another slide reveals that these devices will offer unlimited storage for photos & videos at full resolution.
The standard Pixel sports a 5-inch 1920×1080 AMOLED display and a 2770 mAh battery, while the Pixel XL is listed having 2560×1440 AMOLED display and a 3450 mAh battery, both of them covered by Gorilla Glass 4. Both the devices will have the same 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera. Other common specs include, a fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB/128GB storage option. A microSD card is also mentioned on the website. Apparently, a 15 minute charge will lead to 7 hours of battery life.
There are still some unanswered questions regarding that matte backing and the pricing. Meanwhile, CPW also includes some of the images of product shots, giving us a better look at the device itself.
