Google Pixel Press shot, New Photos & Specifications leaked
As the actual launch which is on October 4th comes near, new rumors regarding the Pixel and Pixel XL have surfaced. It includes the important specifications of both the phones and a lot more.
Initially, these renders of the back panels on the Pixel phones were posted on Reddit by a user. Later, the creator of these renders commented saying that these were made by him after seeing the early renders of the Pixel phones. However, there is a high chance that these renders might come true as the new Pixel phones are suggested to come with a concept of the touchpad on the back. The shiny panel around the fingerprint sensor is said to be a touchpad.
The Pixel and Pixel XL are codenamed as Marlin and Starfish respectively. Coming to the specifications, the Pixel would sport a 5-inch display, while the Pixel XL would feature a 5.5-inch display, both of them being AMOLED 2K display. The phones would be powered a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. In terms of camera, there would be a 12MP rear camera with 4K recording support and 8MP selfie camera as well. Marlin would come with 2770 mAh battery, while the Starfish would have a 3450 mAh battery.
VentureBeat has leaked a Press shot of the Google Pixel, including a screenshot of the phone’s UI. We can see new Pixel Launcher along with new rounded icons. The navigation icons are now completely filled. The home button changing from a solid circle with colors to a solid circle outlined by a larger circle.
