Google set to unveil Pixel phones on October 5th

Now that we are past the Galaxy Note 8 launch, it’s time to set our eyes on the next big thing in the Android world. Yes, Google is set to showcase the latest and greatest of Android running on its newer Pixel phones.

Industry’s favourite tipster @evleaks revealed in a tweet that the Pixel event might happen on October 5th. Last year, the Pixel launched happened on October 4th. Moreover, the next Pixel phones will come with Snapdragon 836 processor. Similarly, the first gen Pixel devices came with more advanced Snapdragon 821 CPU at a time.

Codenamed as Taiman and Walleye, the smaller one carries only incremental changes when it comes to design. The HTC made Pixel is rumoured to bring dual front stereo speakers, 4.97-inch display, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 836 processor and more to the table.

The bigger one Taiman is reportedly manufactured by LG and will come with a 6-inch display with smaller bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The rest of the specs are similar to its smaller brother. We will find more about them on 5th October.
