Googles launches YouTube Go beta in India

Announced back in September last year, the YouTube Go app is aimed at the regions with poor connectivity. Today, the company has officially launched the open public beta for the app in India.

YouTube Go borrows some features from YouTube Red, allowing users to download videos at the different resolution. One can even watch a preview of video before downloading or streaming it over the network.

Google says YouTube Go is designed to work better with offline connectivity. For example, a user needs only 15Kb of data to locally share a video to friends. Want to give it a try? Hit the link here. Availability outside India is still unknown at this moment.
