Honor 7X with dual camera launched in India for ₹12,999
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is slowly but surely making a place in India’s mainstream smartphone market. The company’s Honor 5X and 6X were well received in the market but never gave a serious competition to biggies like Samsung and Xiaomi. Today’s launch of Honor 7X might change that perception. And here is why.
For a starting price of ₹12,999, the 7X brings a 6-inch full HD+ display with a modern 18:9 aspect ratio, a homemade Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage with micro-SD expansion up to 256GB, a 3340 mAh battery. The Honor 7X runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android Nougat 7.1 out of box. Honor promises Android Oreo with EMUI 8.0 soon.
The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup. The primary 16MP lens handles the heavy lifting while the 2MP shooter helps to take software-based portrait and capture more light during low-light conditions. The selfie cam stands at 8MP and even comes with portrait mode.
The Honor 7X starts at ₹12,999 for 32GB storage and goes up to ₹15,999 for the 64GB version. The color options include Black, Blue, and Gold to choose from. The sale starts exclusively on Amazon on December 7th.
