CES 2017: HP announces Spectre x360 and EliteBook x360
Today, HP upgrades 13.3-inch Spectre x360 variant with bigger size and more power. Alongside, the company also launched world’s thinnest business convertible with Spectre’s design and enterprise security/durability of HP Elite, called EliteBook x360.
The new 15.6 inch Spectre x360 packs 15.6-inch 4K display with thinner bezels on both the sides, NVIDIA GeForce 940 GPU, latest Inter CPUs, front facing speakers by Bang & Olufsen, Windows Hello compatible IR camera and of course a 360-degree rotating hinge. HP claims up to 12 hours and 45 minutes of battery life, which we know how laptop manufacturers always get wrong.
Spectre x360 will be available to pre-order from both BestBuy and Hp.com starting today. The device will ship later this month. The pricing starts at $1279.99. Though, you can find that variant only on HP website. The BestBuy one starts at $1499.
As expected, HP EliteBook x360 packs the new Intel processors, 13.3-inch 4K display, USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, Windows Hello, and active pen support. The company claims up to 16 hours of battery life, but the jury is still out there.
HP included HP Sure Start Gen3, the self-healing BIOS, and the advanced app for PC management called HP WorkWise. It will be available to buy at the end of this month.
