HTC 11 alleged to release next year with an edge display similar to Galaxy S7 Edge
According to the latest rumors coming out of China, the upcoming HTC 11 will sport a 5.5-inch curved edge display with a QHD panel.
Most of the companies have already switched to OLED panels except HTC. Although, with the announcement of HTC 11, the company is expected to switch to OLED panel, which provides more vibrant colors and brighter display. Furthermore, using OLED panels also helps to reduce the overall thickness of the phone.
In terms of camera, the number of megapixels will remain unchanged from its predecessor i.e. 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The phone is also said to feature Snapdragon 830 under the hood.
The 2016 flagship HTC 10 was very much “inspired” by the iPhone design in terms of the design and now the company seems to be planning to take it a step further by adding an edge display, which again will be inspired from the S series. But then again, all of these are just rumors for now and the Taiwanese phone manufacturer may just surprise us.
