HTC’s upcoming flagship to come with Snapdragon 835 CPU and customizable sensors in metal band
Samsung is having the Galaxy S8 event tomorrow and LG is already done with G6 and so as Sony with its Xperia flagship for 2017. One would wonder, where is HTC? The company has launched a high-end HTC U Ultra in the beginning of the year and many had speculated it to be the only top-end offering from the Taiwanese company. But, guess what? HTC isn’t done yet.
Codenamed as ‘Ocean’, the upcoming flagship from HTC may sport a Snapdragon 835 processor and customizable sensors in the metal band which helps to perform different tasks with pressing the metal band around the display, reports VentureBeat. The other specs include 5.5-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, 16MP selfie shooter, and Android Nougat 7.1 with Sense UI on top.
The device may get an official announcement in April with the following global release in May.
