Huawei cuts down Sales Target for 2016
Chinese smartphone manufacture, Huawei is having a rough year in 2016. The company first initially set the sales mark at 140 million units this year but according to recent reports, the number is cut down to 120 million.
If you remember, Huawei managed to sell more than 100 million smartphones in 2015. So, one can expect the company to sell more units this year. The report also suggests that Huawei failed to achieve its initial sales mark in 2016 and the high price tag of its flagship models are to blame for.
The news comes just after few days after Huawei announced that they managed to ship over 2.6 million units of its P9 and P9 Plus smartphones. Unveiled back in April this year, the flagships carry a price tag of €649 and €749, respectively.
So, what do you think? Can Huawei reach its new target? Sound off in comments.
