Huawei launches Honor 8 Pro with flagship specs and lower price tag
Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei announced the new flagship in its portfolio. The Honor Pro 8 grabs the specs list from Huawei P10 (In some areas, even improve upon it) while keeping the price tag way lower than Huawei’s flagship duo.
Honor 8 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display, company’s own Kirin 960 CPU, 64GB inbuilt storage, 6GB of RAM, 4000mAh battery, 12MP dual rear camera setup, fingerprint scanner, and Android Nougat 7.0 with Huawei’s infamous Emotion UI on top.
Unlike the P10/P10 Plus, Honor 8 Pro opt to keep fingerprint scanner on the back. Besides the main camera, the capabilities radically match the recently unveiled P10/P10 Plus. Which is both positive and negative for the Chinese company. The Consumers who aren’t that much into breakthrough camera tricks have a compelling reason to choose Honor 8 Pro, securing the user in Huawei camp. And the minus point is, the Honor 8 Pro may eat into potential sales of Huawei’s flagships and eventually the margins and profit.
The Honor 8 Pro will cost 474.99 in Europe. Other region availability is unknown at this time. Stay tuned for more.
