Infinix Note 4 with fingerprint scanner launched at Rs 8,999
You shouldn’t be surprised to hear this, but yet another Chinese mobile company forays into the Indian market. Infinix, a smartphone company based out of Hong Kong just unveiled the Note 4, which happens to be a budget contender.
The phone is priced at 8,999 and will be available in Black, Blue and Gold.
The Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display and has a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. The phone will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which will further be expandable upto 128GB via MicroSD card.
The phone has a 13MP primary camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and dual-LED flash whereas the front-facing selfie camera sports a 8MP sensor. The device has a hefty 4,300 mAh battery which supports fast charging too. On the connectivity front the phone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB, dual-SIM and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone’s home button on the front also acts as a fingerprint sensor which can store upto 5 fingerprints. The phone will run on the company’s XOS on top of Android Nougat 7.
The Note 4 will be made available on Flipkart from 3rd August, 12PM. The phone will also come with launch offers which include a 2 month Hotstar Premium subscription, exchange offers upto Rs 8,500 on exchanging an old phone, Idea 84GB 4G data with no daily cap for 84 days at Rs 443, one time Infinix screen replacement within 100 days.
The phone is in direct competition with Xiaomi which has got a really stronghold in the sub 10k segment. It’ll be interesting to see if this newcomer will be able to squeeze in and make it’s own place in this crowded market.
