Leaked Images Reportedly Show a Refurbished Note 7 with 3,200 mAh battery

Just last week it was confirmed by Samsung that it has plans to introduce refurbished Note 7’s, depending on regulatory approval. Today, pictures of what is supposedly the refurbished Note 7 have been leaked.

The device in the picture is running on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 3,200 mAh battery. Earlier reports had emerged suggesting that Samsung would opt for a smaller battery in the refurbished units and that does seem to be the case. The Note 7 originally was powered by a 3,500 mAh battery.

The original rumor had suggested that the refurbished model would launch in developing markets like India and Vietnam, and though a Samsung India employee had rubbished the rumor, the leak has emerged at SamsungVN, which is a Vietnamese site.

We need to keep in mind though that Samsung would require local regulatory approval before releasing them in market.
