Lenovo launched Vibe K5 Note and refreshed Vibe K5 Plus in India

Today Lenovo India took wraps from its latest mid range offerings Vibe K5 Plus and Vibe K5 Note. Priced at ₹8,499 and ₹11,999/₹13,499 respectively, this Flipkart exclusives will directly compete with the likes of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3, Moto G4 Plus and Yu Yunicorn. K5 Plus was first announced in China few months back but the Indian version is more refined and powerful. Let’s dive into specs.

  1. Vibe K5 Plus

Lenovo upgraded Vibe K5 Plus in two departments while keeping the price same as before. It is quipped with same 5″ HD display, Snapdragon 616 processor, 13MP/5MP camera shooter combo, dual sim, 2750 mAh battery, 16 GB ROM. The RAM bumped up to 3 GB compared to 2 GB before. The capacity of expansion slot also got increased to 32 GB to 128 GB. The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with Lenovo’s own Leaner UI on the top. The color options remains same as before – Silver, Gold and Grey.

Vibe K5 Note boasts 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920×1080 resolution. It is powered by 1.8 GHz Helio P10 MT6755 octal-core processor with 3GB/4GB of RAM depending upon the variant you choose. The built in storage starts at 32 GB with Micro-SD expansion up to 128 GB. 3500 mAh battery ensures a full day usage without a charger. The hosted fingerprint scanner on the back wakes up the screen just in 0.2 second. The fingerprint scanner can also be used as home button, multitasking menu and selfie snapper.

As far as photography is concerned, the Vibe K5 Note is equipped with 13 MP ISOCELL camera with dual tone flash and 8 MP wide-angel selfie shooter. The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with company’s own Leaner UI on top. The new leaner UI is an evident that Lenovo is slowly but surely taking clues from Motorola to make the look and feel of its UI more close to stock Android. The 3 GB variant costs ₹11,999 while 4 GB one will deepen your pockets by ₹13,499. For the first 24 hours, you can get VR bundle for only ₹999 and Gaming bundle for ₹1999.

Vibe K5 Note will be available in three colors – Champagne Gold, Graphite Grey, and Platinum Silver. Both the devices are Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale starting from 3rd August 23.59 pm.
