Lenovo sold ₹100 crore worth of Vibe K5 Note in opening weekend on Flipkart

Last week Lenovo launched the successor of K4 Note in India, aka Vibe K5 Note. The company made big hurrah about metal cladded multitasking champ during the launch event. It seems the strategy has paid off for the Chinese manufacture. Lenovo didn’t announce the total number of devices sold, but they claim to have sold the worth of ₹100 crore Vibe K5 Note in its first weekend of availability on Flipkart, which considering the price translates into roughly 75,000 devices.

Vibe K5 Note spots 5.5 inch full HD display, MediaTek P10 Helio processor, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 13MP/8MP camera combo, 3500 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of box. All this at a price of ₹11,999 or ₹13,499, depending upon the variant you choose.

It’s good to see company continuing its dream run in India with Vibe series. Also the fact that Lenovo still has K5 Note in stock shows that the company has enough stock to begin with, unlike other companies (Xiaomi, looking at you).

We will have the full review of Vibe K5 Note soon. Stay tuned for more.
