LG G5 tastes Android Nougat in South Korea, other markets to follow soon.

Previously LG announced to treat its modular G5 with Nougat before year end. The company already tested Nougat build with 2000 beta users in South Korea and now the update is available for all users in the home country.

LG said that Android 7.0 will be released for other markets including Asia and US in near future. G5 became second LG phone running latest Android build as the V20 came with Nougat out of box.

On the other hand, Samsung announced to start Android Nougat beta testing from November 9 in US, South Korea, and China. Meaning they won’t get the update until next year. LG does deserve the applaud here.

Android Nougat brings multi-windows, improved doze mode, refined notification center and much more.
