LG G6 to arrive in India on April 24
After Samsung, another Korean giant is ready to grab some market share in world’s second largest smartphone market. LG with its G6 wants to regain that lost spot in the premium market. Ahead of the official launch, retailers have leaked price info and other offer details bundled with the device.
The G6 will be priced at ₹56,990. Those who pre-order it before 30th April, will be eligible for ₹7000 cash back on SBI and HDFC credit/debit cards, plus the LG Tone active+ Bluetooth headset for half the asking price of ₹9,990. And if you buy it before then the cashback amount reduced to ₹5000 while the offer on Bluetooth headset remains the same. A steep decline from Samsung’s price tag of ₹58,000 on Galaxy S8. Nice, LG.
Announced back at MWC this year, the G6 packs 5.7-inch QHD LCD panel with 18:7 aspect ratio, ensuring 5.7-inch display in a 5.2-inch typical smartphone body. The processing power is backed by Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM with micro-SD slot.
In the camera department, the similar dual rear lens made a comeback with few tricks up its sleeves. The selfie shooter is at 8MP with wide angle lens. The battery capacity stands at 3,200mAH with Quick Charge 3.0 on board. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat with LG’s custom UX on top.
