LG G6 mini might be launched as Q6
The LG G6 was the first phone to move away from the 16:9 aspect ratio for a taller 18:9. This set the trend for upcoming phones for the future. But, what if the 5.7″ is a little too big for you? Do you want something smaller? Like an LG G6 mini?
Back in April, leakster Evan Blass talked about the LG G6 “mini” but didn’t specify the name. Apparently, it’s already cleared its FCC certification and should have the model number M700. The display will go down to 5.4″ with the 18:9 aspect ratio and ~80% screen-to-body ratio. RAM will be 3GB and there will be a single 13MP shooter on the back (instead of 4GB and 2 sensors). The main processor yet remains unknown, as supplying an SD821 in 2017 won’t work, and SD835 is far fetched. So there’s a chance it could have a mid range Snapdragon 600 series processor. Pricing also seems a little confusing, as the G6 has gotten many price drops within months of its launch.
