LG V20 to retail at 49,999 in India
Gadgets360 have confirmed that the LG V20 will sell for INR 49,999, though the launch date is still unknown
For a selling price of an equivalent of around $750 converted, it might not be the cheapest phone available, with the likes of OnePlus, Xiaomi and Lenovo dominating the Indian market. However, with the lack of a proper large flagship towards the end of the year from a major company (The Note 7 never made it India, and now it has halted sales) and the cost of the iPhone 7 reaching to almost 1,00,000 for the plus with high storage, maybe this one could succeed.
For a refresher of specs, the latest LG flagship is powered by the Snapdragon 820, with 4 gigs of ram, dual rear cameras, a secondary tickr display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. it’s got the best possible DACs, a QHD display and a removable 3200mah battery, in a metal body.
A big portion of the Indian market still doesn’t buy phones from smaller companies, and this is LG’s opportunity to establish itself. Let’s hope it launches soon.
