Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Play announced in India
Diwali is coming and it seems like every company wants to cash-in on this festive season. Motorola today launched two high-end smartphones, Moto Z and Moto Z Play in India. Both the devices will go on sale starting from 17th October on Flipkart and Amazon for ₹39,999 and ₹24,999 respectively. Let’s dive into specs.
Moto Z is more of a higher end and a direct upgrade over last year’s Moto X. It sports 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM. Other specs include 64GB internal storage with micro-SD expansion slot, 2600 mAh battery with quick charging tech, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie shooter, Hybrid SIM, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C , Moto Mods and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of box. Oh and remember, Moto Z eliminates 3.5 mm jack too.
Moto Z Play is more of a mid-high tier and an upgrade over Moto X Play both in terms of features and price. Here is what Moto Z Play brings to the table. A 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM with micro-SD slot, 16MP/5MP camera combo, a whopping 3510 mAh battery with Turbo Charging, Hybrid SIM slot and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of box.
Along the side, Moto mods were launched too. An Incipio offGRID Power Pack, JBL Soundboost Speaker, Insta-Share Projector and Hasselblad True Zoom Camera Mod will be available to buy at Rs 5,999; Rs 6,999; Rs 19,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively.
