Motorola updates G5 lineup with G5S and G5S Plus

It seems Motorola is doubling down on the company’s popular G series lineup. Moto first announced original G5 and G5 Plus back in March and today it added some improvements in camera, display and CPU departments and made G5S and G5S Plus official. Let’s take a closer look.

The G5S packs bigger screen (5.2-inch compared to 5-inch of Moto G5), better 1.4 GHz processor, an improved 16MP camera and bigger 3,000 mAh battery over its predecessor. While the G5S brings dual rear camera setup to this budget lineup, an 8MP wide angle selfie shooter and a 5.5-inch 1080p display in the same unibody design.

The RAM and storage department remains unchanged. One can get up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of ROM on bigger G5S Plus. Both the devices will be available to buy (249 for G5S and 299 for G5S Plus) in Europe later this month. Pricing and availability in India remain unknown.

How much are you willing to spend on this devices if made available in India? Sound off in comments.
