New Galaxy S8 leak reveals the device in full glory
Samsung Galaxy S8 is right around the corner but that hasn’t stopped new leaks to flow out. We already know the specs, design, release date, availability and pretty much everything about the device. And yet evleaks managed to surprise us with what seems like the official marketing image for Galaxy S8 revealing the beautiful edgeless front and sides of the device.
The front is covered by the AMOLED QHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The volume buttons and power key are on the left side while the dedicated Bixby Assistant button is on right.
The rumored spec sheet include a 5.8-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 CPU (depending upon the market), 64GB ROM with expandable storage, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front shooter, a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging tech, fingerprint scanner besides camera bump and Android 7.1 with Samsung’s own Grace UI out of box.
Talking about the software, the updated UI and icon pack reveals some interesting choice by Samsung. The software keys include refined look for the back, home, and multitasking button. And the new icon pack include circular design choice by Samsung all over it (Just look at that search bar in apps menu).
The pricing includes €799 for Galaxy S8, €899 for Galaxy S8+, €150 for DeX, €129 for Gear VR and €229 for Gear360. Once again courtesy to evleaks for this one.
The only missing point here is Bixby in action and that we will leave up to Samsung for the official event on March 29.
