Nokia 6 crosses 1 million registrations on Amazon India

It seems like Nokia has finally hit a homerun with the Nokia 6 in India. The Nokia 6 has received over a million registrations on Amazon India!

Nokia 6 was announced back in June in India along with Nokia 3 and 5 as budget android-powered smartphones. The Nokia 6 is the biggest of the lot coming in with a 5.5-inch 1080p display. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of Internal Storage and a Snapdragon 430 on board. On the camera front, it has an 8MP snapper on the front and a 16MP with dual flash on the back.

What makes the phone even attractive is the build quality. The Nokia 6 is manufactured from a block of aluminium with diamond cut edges. In terms of software, the phone will run onAndroid Nougat 7 out of the box.

Now it’s important to keep in mind that these are only registrations. It doesn’t necessarily mean that 1 million people will definitely buy the phone. This number just shows general interest in the phone. Nevertheless, crossing the million mark is still a great achievement.

In other news, Nokia’s android flagship, the Nokia 8 is rumoured to be launched on the 16th of August and will ship with Android 8 out of the box. It’ll be interesting to see where Nokia goes from here.
