Android Running Nokia D1C Renders Leak
The Nokia brand is slated to return to the phone market this year with feature phone offerings from FIH Mobile and “at least” two smartphones by HMD in Q2 next year. Could this be one of them?
There was a render of an alleged Nokia Android phone, codenamed D1C, which depicted a rectangular slab with tapered sides and a center-middle camera setup. Well, today we get the alleged back plate of an upcoming Nokia phone, and it pretty much looks like what we saw in the render.
Fresh image renders from Weibo testify the latter theory, and even reveal design details on the upcoming Nokia smartphone. The Nokia D1C is expected to come in Gold, White, and Black colour variants. The Gold colour option is expected to sport a fingerprint scanner underneath the Home Button, while the others aren’t.
A Snapdragon 430 chipset drives the phone with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 505 GPU. 3 GB of RAM is inside along with 32 GB of internal storage. On the back of the phone will be a 13MP camera, while an 8MP camera in front handles selfies and video chats.
There are two card trays on the left, a USB Type-C (probably) port on the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
