Another report points towards a 7th July Note 7 relaunch

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was one of the favourite phones of the Media, but it had a flaw which led to combustion and blasts in some units. Samsung announced a total recall for nearly 3 million units. After that, reports emerged that Samsung might refurbish these and sell them again in the future.

It was rumoured to go on sale in July in their home country Korea, and then to other places. According to a Wall Street Journal report, the Note 7 will be launched on July 7, and then sales will follow. Further, only around half a million units of these will be sold now. The naming might also change to Note FE (Fan edition?) and a price drop to around $600. The newer battery is supposed to be rated at 3,200 mAh. This hasn’t been officially confirmed by Samsung yet, but looks highly probable.

Also, availability outside of Korea is still doubtful as regulations are stricter in other countries. And even if it does make it, will people be ready to give it another try?

7-7-2017 seems like a good date to launch the new Note 7….
