NuAns NEO powered by Windows 10 to launch worldwide via Kickstarter
The NuAns NEO a unique looking smartphone powered by Windows 10 Mobile is finally set for a worldwide release. The smartphone was first seen at CES 2016 (Consumer Electronic Show) which caught the eyes of many consumers especially the ones waiting for a new flagship Windows smartphone.
“The highly anticipated NuAns NEO mobile phone was first spotted at the 2016 Consumer Electronic Tradeshow in Las Vegas in early January,” NuAns said. “From that moment on, the curiosity and excitement only grew as consumers in the states waiting for news on the NEO.”
“We are pleased to report that we are launching our Kickstarter campaign on the last week of June 2016 where consumers will have the opportunity to pre-purchase one of these units.”
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC and sports a 5-inch HD display. It comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal memory, and a USB Type-C port with support for Continuum.
The device features ‘TWO-TONE’ interchangeable covers for its back which allow for up to 64 different design combinations. and this might just be its main claim for fame. There’s currently no information on the Neo’s price and final launch time-frame.

During its first sales in Japan, the phone was sold for approximately ¥46,116 (around US$370) for the base model with the customizable top and bottoms retailing for ¥15,12 (approximately US$12). However, the NuAns NEO and its accessories will cost outside of Japan have not been disclosed yet.
