OnePlus 5 Geekbench score drops in, beats Galaxy S8 and Xperia XZ Premium

Now that Samsung, LG, Huawei, Sony, and Xiaomi are done with their 2017 flagship offering, it’s time for OnePlus to reveal cards. The company already confirmed to skip number 4 to go with ‘OnePlus 5’ name. And today we have the first glimpse of OnePlus 5’s performance on Geekbench.

The single-core score stand at 1963 and the multi-core numbers tops the charts with whopping 6687 scores.

Compared to that, the Galaxy S8 scored 1929 in single-core and 6084 in multi-core, while Sony’s flagship achieve 1943 in single-core and 5824 in multi-core.

The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with OnePlus’s in-house Oxygen OS out of box. Which version of skin it’s running is still a puzzle. As the device nears an official launch, you should expect more details on way.
