OnePlus 5T to be Launched on 16th November

OnePlus has been teasing the soon to come OnePlus 5T for quite some time and now they have officially announced the launch date of the latest flagship. The teaser video emphasizes on the line ‘A New View’ which is safe to assume that it will be having a 18:9 Resolution Display.

Launch events are usually held for members of the media only, so that press can report on and get impressions of new devices. But OnePlus is doing something a little differently: it’s holding the event in Brooklyn and will allow fans to come, so long as they buy a $40 ticket. The event will also be available to stream for free online.

The almost edge-to-edge screen is pretty in an exclusive leak we covered previously, and the fingerprint scanner is not seen, so it’s safe to assume that it’s on the back. RAM should be at 8GB and storage is seen as 64GB, so that should be at least one of the configurations. We are hoping that it will ship with Android Oreo out of the box.

OnePlus 5T

Given the trend OnePlus followed with last year’s OnePlus 3 and 3T, it is also safe to assume that there won’t be any major design changes because the 5T is supposed to be a more refined and slightly upgraded version. Fans and Enthusiast have been pretty vocal about their disappointment with the soon to come 5T because like last year current users feel betrayed. OnePlus too is now following the dual flagship per year launch format that has been followed by Samsung and LG for years.
