Oppo claims to have sold 7 million F1 Plus, one every 1.1 seconds
Just yesterday we saw the grand entry of Oppo in top 5 smartphone manufactures in the world. Well, much of this success is largely thanks to stellar performance of F1 Plus smartphone, also known as Oppo R9 in China.
Today, the company shed some lights on F1 Plus’s performance around the world. The company claims that the camera centric F1 Plus is generating a tremendous buzz among the fans, which resulted into sale of one unit at every 1.1 seconds. The total sales number have been predicted to reach 7 million figure since its launch from March.
With the heavy marketing (Oppo was the chief sponsor for ICC T-20 world cup) and a focused offline distribution, Oppo was able to reach more customers than its rivals specially in India.
The announcement was made today by OPPO Vice President Alen Wu at a conference in Shenzhen. He also weights on F1 Plus’s quality and battery which is designed to last 1.8 times longer than normal industrial standards:
“For Oppo, the engine of our growth has always been our focus on the product, we listen to users, and bring them meticulously designed, top-quality products that they’ll truly love. That’s what’s brought us this far and what will continue to drive us going forward.”
