Oppo R11 & R11 Plus make an appearance at TENAA
The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus have made their way to the Chinese Certification website – TENAA. They R11 and R11 Plus will be successors to the R9 and R9s Plus which were received when launched last year.
The R11 and R11 Plus are similar phones except when it comes to display size, RAM and battery capacity.
Photos of the R11 and R11 Plus were leaked along with a detailed list of specifications. The R11 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display whereas the R11 Plus will have a bumped up 6-inch panel. Where the R11 will have 4GB of RAM under the hood, the R11 Plus will have 6GB of RAM. At last, the battery on the R11 is rated at 2900 mAh and the one on the R11 Plus is rated at 3880 mAh.
Both phones miss dual-cameras on the front like the F3 and the F3 Plus but they still have a solid 20MP sensor. Although the back will come with the same dual-camera setup, featuring a 20MP and 16MP sensor which will deliver 2x optical zoom.
Both phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button on the front. They will run Oppo’s Color OS based on Android Nougat 7.1.
No official dates have been disclosed by Oppo, but a certification on TENAA means that the launch is not too far.
