Qualcomm leaks the existence of the OnePlus 3T
It’s no secret. The OnePlus 3 is one of the best phone this season. In fact, it’s so good that they have been struggling to keep up with the demand, even after halting sales for a few weeks in Europe.
Founder, Carl tweeted that this was because of the slow supply of AMOLED displays for the OnePlus 3. So leaks suggest that they will launch the OnePlus 3T, a OnePlus 3 with an LCD display, and a snapdragon 821. The move to LCD is not one that everyone would enjoy, but the inclusion of the 821 should be a welcome change.

Other leaks point towards a slightly bigger 3300mah battery (Dash charge should be making the cut), 128gb base storage and it could run Android Nougat out of the box, as Pete teased it earlier on video. A new color variant could also be in the tow, like the previously seen red or matte black.

It’s been 5 months since the OnePlus 3 has been on sale, and it’s disheartening that OnePlus has still not figured out the logistics, if this is all true. This will also disappoint a lot of current OnePlus 3 users, that their device isn’t the latest any more.
