Samsung Flip Phone W2018 with Snapdragon 835 Surfaces
The smartphone industry might be poised to bring sleek and innovative candy-bar phones to the table, but Samsung seems to be loyal to the flip phone design. Samsung has launched some premium level flip phones in the recent past.
Now details about the upcoming W2018 (SM-W2018) flip phone has surfaced. The W2017 was powered by Snapdragon 820, had 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, the W2018 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 835, come with 6GB RAM and the internal storage is said to be 64GB, same as the predecessor.
A Twitter leak, first spotted by Sammobile claims that the device will have a Snapdragon 835 processor at its heart backed by 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is expected to come with similar dual displays on the front and inside so that you can use the phone even when it’s closed and let you flip open to use the other screen with a keyboard. The W2018 is expected to come with dual 4.2-inch FHD displays.
The device was earlier spotted in the TENAA listing, but the specifications revealed in the listing are contrary to the recent leaks. The TENAA listing suggested that the W2018 had the Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 4GB of RAM instead of 6GB.
