Samsung launches Galaxy Tab S3 in India, priced at ₹47,990
Earlier this year, at MWC 2017, Samsung took the wraps off its latest tablet — Galaxy Tab S3, the successor to 2015’s Galaxy Tab S2. Now, Samsung has launched Galaxy Tab S3 in India, which is priced at ₹47,990. The Galaxy Tab S3 will be sold at all major stores across India. With Galaxy Tab S3, the company aims to take a direct shot at Apple‘s iPad Pro which launched earlier this year.

The Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED QXGA display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, a 6mm thin metal frame, and weighs 434 grams. It has four speakers with audio tuned by AKG and a 6000mAh battery. There is also a fingerprint scanner placed right in the home button.
At the heart, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (Quad Core 2.15GHz + 1.6GHz), Adreno 530 GPU, and it is paired with 4GB RAM. The device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat (painted with TouchWiz UI) and 32GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD up to 256GB.
Coming on to the camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with flash while on the front there is a 5MP camera.

Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S3 comes the USB-C port. The Galaxy Tab S2 came with USB 2.0 connection whereas the Tab S3 supports USB 3.1 for faster transfer speed.
Under a special launch offer till July 31, Galaxy Tab S3 will be offered with one-time screen replacement at ₹990 within a period of 12 months from purchase and Reliance Jio’s double data offer of 28+28GB a month at ₹309, valid till December 31. The Tab comes in Black and Silver color options.
The tablet will be available starting from today onwards. The company has also introduced a Book cover, which is priced at ₹2,999 and a Pogo keyboard cover for ₹8,499.
