Samsung Note 8 dual-cameras to feature 3x Optical Zoom
Samsung Note 8 is all set to launch on 23rd August, which is next month. It has long been speculated that the Note 8 would be the first mainstream Samsung device to sport a dual camera system.
According to a prediction from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Guo the new telephoto lens on the camera will have 3x zoom capability. The analyst earlier had also claimed that the upcoming phone will have dual 13MP & 12MP cameras. And from what it seems, the earlier claims will most likely be true. So there’s not much doubt that the phone will also have 3x Zoom.
For comparison sakes, the iPhone 7 Plus feature 2x Optical Zoom. The Note 8’s both lenses are also expected to feature optical image stabilization and will be manufactured by Samsung in-house.
Apart from the rumours of the cameras, it is also expected to sport a 6.3 inch curved QuadHD display, Snapdragon 835/ Exynos 8895, 6GB of RAM and an improved S Pen. Read more about rumours here.
What do you think about the next Galaxy Note? Will it leave a (b)lasting impact in the market? Sorry for the bad pun though.
