Samsung revealed some interesting stats for Galaxy Note 7 replacement program

There is no doubt, the whole Galaxy Note 7 thing turned out to be a nightmare for Samsung. After all, to recall 2.5 million sold devices from 10 countries could be a headache for any manufacturer out there. Today, the company shared some encouraging figure about the whole replacement program.

Out of all returned Note 7s, 60% of came from the US and South Korea alone. 80% customers from Singapore also took part in the exchange program. But, the more encouraging news is, 90% of customers have opted for a replacement device while only 7% consumers asked for a full a refund. Remaining 3% buyers went with another Samsung flagship.

This is certainly great news for Samsung as the critics previously assumed about earlier adopters to go with rival’s offerings. The sales have already started again in the US and Korea with the possible launch in India and other countries on 7th October.
