Samsung starts testing Android 7.0 on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

We have heard nothing but negative about Samsung from last few weeks. But, today is different. Let’s talk about something positive. No, Note 7 sales aren’t resuming anytime soon instead, the Korean giant finally begin treating its latest flagships with Android Nougat 7.0.

Don’t get your hopes too high. It’s only initial testing, not even open beta like last year’s Galaxy S6. So don’t expect to hit it on your device in upcoming 2-3 months. Samsung is currently testing it on Exynos variant of S7 and S7 Edge.

Samsung usually takes it sweet time with major Android updates and to push its Galaxy Note 7 which currently has Marshmallow out of box, the company can further delay the release of Nougat party for Galaxy S7.
