Samsung to use ‘green battery icon’ to indicate safe Galaxy Note 7

Last two weeks have been hell for Samsung. Not even a one day passed without a Note 7 battery explode reports. Airlines around the world too banned the use of Note 7 during flights. Now, the company seems to take some measures to differentiate safe Note 7 with an explosive version of the phablet.

According to ZDNet, Samsung may use green battery indicator in TouchWiz UI. The current one has a white icon available. Samsung had to do this as Note phablets have always been targeted towards business consumers and a ban on use in flights could harm the sales. So, the next time you could just show green battery icon at the security check and play with your Galaxy phablet.
