The Xperia XZ1 packs a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage with micro-SD expansion option, 2700 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, IP-68 water and dust resistance, and Android Oreo out of box. Additionally, it also has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button on the side.
The USP of Xperia XZ1 is its cameras. The 19MP rear camera features something called MotionEye sensor that helps to map a 3D image of anything with used with the 3D Creator app. The rear camera supports 5-axis stabilisation and is capable of doing slow-motion video recording at 960fps, as the one we saw in Xperia XZ Premium, in addition to 4K video recording. The Autofocus Burst captures multiple moving objects and continue to stich in background and give a perfect shot without any blur effect. The selfie shooter is at 13MP resolution with an aperture of f/2.0 and 22mm wide-angle lens for group selfies. It is also powered by Sony’s Exmor RS mobile imaging sensor.
The XZ1 comes with various offers like 5 percent cashback on purchases made with HDFC and ICICI cards and a ₹1,000 discount on the Style Cover Stand. It has been announced in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants. In India, the company is only bringing the latter variant to the market. It will be available in Black colour and the interested consumers can buy it from any Sony retail store around the country from Monday, September 25.
