Sony Xperia X series makes debut in India
After opening up the pre-registration for some time, Sony today took wraps from the latest Xperia X series in India. Both Xperia X and Xperia XA are now available to purchase from Amazon India, Sony outlets and leading retailers across the country. Xperia XA is priced at ₹20,990 and while the bigger brother Xperia X will deepen your pockets by ₹46,990. Let’s see what’s in the bag for us.
Sony Xperia XA dual
The affordable Xperia XA consists 5” HD display with 2.5D glass and 1280×720 resolution. The device is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor and the multitasking is handled by 2GB RAM.
The built in storage is 16GB and which can be further expanded by micro-SD expansion slot up to 200GB. It come is four color options- White, Lime Gold, Rose Gold, and Graphite Black.
As far as photography is concerned, the rear camera is 13MP Exmor RS sensor with Hybrid Auto Focus and the selfie shooter has 8MP camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens. The device is kept awake by 2,300 mAh juice.
Sony Xperia X
The bigger brother Xperia X handles the job of being the flagship runner for Sony. The spec sheet starts with the 5” full HD display with 1920×1080 resolution. The processing power is handled by Snapdragon 650 processor (Same chipset used in Redmi Note 3 which only costs ₹11,990) and 3GB of RAM. The built in storage stands at 32GB which can be further expanded by micro-SD card slot.
The camera department is handled by 23MP Exmor RS sensor with f/2.0 aperture and hybrid autofocus. The front facing shooter is 13MP (Selfie lovers! Rejoin) with same f/2.0 aperture. The battery capacity stands at 2620mAh and also comes with Qnovo Adaptive Charging.
Both the devices are dual SIM enabled and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of box. Connectivity options includes all the bells and whistles like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, and a MicroUSB port. Xperia X will be available to purchase on 7th June and Xperia XA will be available on third week of June.
