Sony Xperia XR (F8331) leaks, may launch at IFA 2016

The Xperia F8331 is believed to be the Xperia XR. This is the first time we’ve heard about the model. No confirmation yet by Sony but we believe this particular leak. It seems the Xperia XR is poised to be another flagship to be released before end of the year or early in 2017. The phone could be introduced at the IFA in Berlin this September.

The sides are slightly curved and there are some speakers at the front. It looks different from the Xperia phones we’ve seen in the past. At the back panel is an obvious change in design and position of the LED flash.

Other features and specs we can expect include a power button on the sides, 1080p display, and 4K video recording capability. The Sony Xperia XR may also have a USB Type-C, if so, this would be Sony’s first device to sport one.

This device has also leaked in the past, where a USB-C Connector is seen.
